The new Tony Roma’s restaurant design ushers us into an era of modern elegance, while staying true to our core DNA as THE place for RIBS for generations of families.

Not only is the more open floor-plan aesthetically pleasing, modern and elegant, but it is also a more cost-effective, smaller footprint for investors joining our legendary brand at a pivotal time of innovation. A smaller layout for our kitchen, dining area and bar translates into a lower initial investment. Select restaurants also offer an expanded outdoor patio and dining space with features that encourage social gatherings, such as outdoor fireplaces and flat-screen TVs.

Our exciting new restaurant interior changes introduce more relaxing and refined colors of charcoal, ash grey and cream, which radiate casual elegance and deliver a relaxing and comfortable surrounding for customers, whether they are enjoying a signature Romarita® at the bar or a classic dinner of baby back ribs at one of the more intimate booths. Special touches such as enhanced lighting and stonework add to the warm feeling of the new Tony Roma’s.

Our founder, Tony Roma, loved to entertain his friends and serve great food and drinks. We know he would approve of the elegant and modern version of his neighborhood restaurant and bar that got its start in North Miami. Facing little competition, we are set to win the hearts and taste buds of a new generation of diners seeking the quality and craveability of our signature ribs.

We have also changed our preferred building model from freestanding to an in-line, end cap or mall location. These restaurants are more flexible to locate and allow franchisees to get closer to their core customer base. Because these models typically involve a lease, the launch process is simplified — minus building permits, contractors and other building processes. This new model is significantly less expensive and is also faster to build; your Tony Roma’s location can be open in almost half the time of a freestanding build.
